What is RWorks?
RWorks is a Web based task management system that automatically tracks progress and facilitates
timely feedback on a workers activity by their managers.
While communications systems enable remote working, and application access tools allow remote users to operate as if they were in the office. RWorks focusses on the people themselves.

A significant amount
of employers do not reap the benefits of remote working due to issues around trust and communication. Conversely many remote
workers no longer feel part of the larger organisation due to lack of feedback on activities.
RWorks focuses on monitoring the tasks assigned to a remote worker and the employees progress on those tasks. It measures personal productivity or the productivity of an entire team.
Who is it suitable for?
RWorks is suitable for remote workers whose job has the following charactersitics:
Thinking tasks (e.g. writing, research, programming, analysis)
Productivity measured in terms of projects or objectives completed.
No need for constant access to offline files or equipment.
No requirements for face-to-face contact all of the time.
Predominantly computer-based workers with internet access.
Work can be done remotely without adversely affecting others.
RWorks can used by large corporations, outsourcers, individual contractors or any organisations
concerned with it's own productivity without large management overheads.
How does it work?
RWorks intelligently compares the tasks assigned to a remote worker with information gathered
from the remote worker and their PC. The gathered information includes
Application usage - programs and documents
Presence detection
The remote workers status (working, on the phone, at a meeting or taking personal time)
RWorks then determines activity on tasks. When RWorks cannot
match tasks to activity itself, it prompts the remote worker to indicate what activities are being employed
to progress that task.
