So here's the background. We as a company have arisen out of our own need to solve a problem. We were initially a consultancy company with our clients based in different countries or several hours drive away.

At one point we'd travel to a client site 5 days a week, making for twelve hour round-trips and thousands of miles (kilometres) of commuting per week.

Not much fun. Not good for personal well-being. Not good for the environment.

All roads lead to remote working

The solution was to work remotely. Some clients didn't like the idea. Some loved it. Some wanted to see us every day. Some didn't want to see us at all.

However, they all wanted to know we were working hard for them, understanding their business needs, and delivering solutions for them.

We know that remote working, while it has many benefits, needs careful planning, trust and effective communication. There needs to be a breakdown of work, feedback on tasks, and visibility of progression on assignments.

So, based on extensive experience of remote working, for small companies and large, RWorks is our solution to the day-to-day challenges involved. It's a task management solution that automatically detects progress on tasks assigned to either remote or in-office employees.
